About this workshop

The average business user has a staggering 200 passwords! Meanwhile, 80% of people 18 years old and older reuse their passwords on multiple accounts. These trends are why breached passwords are such a hot commodity; because stealing a single password gains access to a user's entire online portfolio, the total exposure from a data breach grows exponentially.

Using a password manager, such as KeePassX, allows you to focus on using one good password for your password manager, and then you can let your password manager do the rest! KeePassX is free to use, cross platform, and doesn't require you to store anything in the cloud.

"Password managers don't have to be perfect, they just have to be better than not having one" - Troy Hunt, April 2017
